I have taken piano lessons for about 8 years, and teaching 3 students for the past 4 months. I am a student of BSU, but I'm done with school right now until fall. Generally, I find that if students practice what I assign them 5 days a week, they are able to learn to play quite rapidly. I am able to teach beginners and intermediate players, as I feel I am an advanced intermediate player myself. I haven't taught any adults yet, but if you'd like to play and you have about 5 days a week with an available half hour to practice, then I suggest you give it a try.
I charge $30 per month, or $7.50 per half hour weekly lesson. I expect students to provide their own books (including a notebook for me to write in) and transportation.
I am available on every day except Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and I usually teach after school until 6pm. I can teach earlier during the summer for those kids who will be available earlier in the day. |
