    About MeContact Me
My name is Sarah Tweet. I have been a vocal coach for 14 years. I am married to my best friend. I am a homeschooling mother of 3. I love coffee, thrifting, crocheting, crafting, horses, the beach, and anything vintage! And just over a year ago my daughters and I became very involved in local theatre and we love it! I was born and raised (and homeschooled) in a very small town called Eatonville right here in WA, but we like adventure so we have moved around a bit to such places as CA and TN! We are back here in NW for a while until the next adventure reveals itself :)

    My Teaching Background
My musical background is a rather eclectic. I went to Pierce College completing their theory program. While I was their I was chosen to be a part of their select vocal jazz ensemble called Farwest Jazz traveling all over the NW competing and performing at jazz festivals and putting on concerts.
When I was 20 I began vocal training with Jack Gorrecht of Garry Music Studios and 6 months later became a vocal coach there. After 5 years of coaching at Garry, I decided to open my own in home studio called Tweet Voice Studio. I did that for 2 years and then decided to pursue my musical dreams and move to Nashville, TN! SO, we packed up our then 2 kiddos and moved across the country. We quickly fell in LOVE with the south. While we lived there I got to do a variety of studio work including, BGV's, voice overs, jingles, demo recording, live recording, and performing. And I taught beginner piano at The School of Worship in Franklin, TN. I am an experienced worship leader, performer, songwriter, pianist, band leader, soloist, harmony singer, and actor.

    My Teaching Philosophy
I base my teaching on the Bel Canto method. I set a classical foundation in order to promote good healthy singing habits so that the voice will last an entire lifetime. My style "specialty" would be pop, jazz, soul with a bit of blues. But what I really enjoy is helping the singer to become emotionally connected to what he or she is singing. Once all the technical work is done I spend a lot of time on artistry and heart.
