Hi everyone,

I've applied to become a Vic Firth Educator. What is it? Well, Vic Firth is one of THE main stick and mallet manufacturers. There is quite an application process and I had to submit samples of my work, letters of recommendation and references along with tons of info about my experience and education. I've been accepted and what it means for my students is that I have a credential that sets me apart from other teachers, have clinics support (i.e. free stuff to give away from Vic Firth), and a chance to be invited to participate in drumming education on a higher level. I'll also have access to materials and info that will help my students.

so there you have it. I have only a few spots left, so don't wait to get signed up for lessons!
