Hi everyone,

I've been away from Learning Musician for awhile, but I'm back! I've been taking advanced lessons from Brett EE Paschal at Lewis and Clark College and it's been great for me, my chops, and my teaching. I've been continuing to reach out to students by giving drum clinics this fall. I've also been working with Rex Putnam High School's drum line this year and it's been really fun. Big fat drum sticks...here I come! It's been great to work on getting those marching chops and rudimental large hand/arm muscles back in shape. I've also been having a friend film me doing my clinic. I learned so much from that! I decided to have MORE fun and change my approach. As a result, my clinics were way more relaxed and fun, and I think the students liked my presensation (I know the music directors did!). Yay!

As always, if you are a student of mine and you refer someone who takes a lesson, you get a FREE lesson! My rates go up to $35 per 45 minute-lesson in the fall, so take advantage of the $30 per lesson rate.
