Introduction
Courtney Taylor is an active performer and voice teacher in the Orange County Area. She is currently singing with LA Opera and San Diego Opera. Not only has Courtney recieved her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from one of the country's leading music conservatories (Manhattan School of Music) she also is a frequent soloist with the Angeles Chorale (Los Angeles). Courtney has been teaching voice and begining piano to students ranging in age from 10years old to adults for 3years now. She believes in teaching healthy vocalism, strong technique and good musicianship in varying styles and genres.

My Teaching Philosophy
I have been teaching voice lessons and begining piano for over 3years now. I believe in healthy singing developed through good technique breath support and good musicality. I believe it is important to be a "smart" singer and as a result feel every voice student should be learning how to read and understand the music they are singing. I teach mostly Classical and Musical Theater styles however I have experience teaching Rock, Pop and Jazz singers who are looking for a healthier technique. I also teach Choral Singing, Ear Training and Music Theory
Rates And Availability
I am available to teach out of my home Studio Monday-Saturday and at Chapman University on Thursdays. If you are located near Newport Beach California it may be possible for me to come to students' homes in they have a piano.
Rates:
$50/hour lesson
$25/half hour (recommended for students under 13years old)
(45min lessons available upon request)
