    About MeContact Me
    Introduction
I use a revolutionary new program designed to help students learn to play the piano more quickly and easily. This new creativity-based program allows students to achieve more in their first year of piano lessons than many of the traditional methods being used today. At Sight and sound Piano Studio, students enjoy developing all aspects of musicianship in a creative and experiential environment.

    My Teaching Background
I hold a diploma from the prestigious Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and an Associate of Arts degree from Bellevue Community College, where I was attending when I took first place in the Eastside Young Artist Music Festival piano competition. Choosing to continue my musical education through private lessons, I studied jazz with Marc Seales, head of the Jazz studies program at the University of Washington; and piano and composition with David Mesler, Emmy nominated composer and teacher at Seattle Central Community College.

    My Teaching Philosophy
In addition to teaching proper piano technique, performance and improvisation skills, I also like to develop students' ear training and sight reading skills. I enjoy working with students to sharpen their musicianship skills further by learning analysis, music theory and, of course, the ability to tell a story through music. I enjoy teaching jazz, classical or recreational music.

    Rates And Availability
I teach at a private studio in the Bothell/Mill Creek area. My monthly tuition rates are $210.00 for 60-minute lessons.
