    Introduction
I play an average of 200 shows per year with 6 bands including regional favorites Crack The Sky. I'm a signed, published composer and session bassist with numerous TV and film credits. My teaching practice is NOT a one-size-fits-all deal; I create a custom-tailored lesson plan based around each student's goals and experience. For those students looking for a total immersion into music theory and advanced techniques, I'm equipped to take you all the way. Or maybe you're just looking for help learning songs or wanting to pick up a new technique such as slapping. If so, I'll structure your lesson plan to address the things which matter most to you!

    My Teaching Background
I've been teaching privately for 19 years, helping players from all walks of life - from home hobbyists and weekend warriors in cover bands - to working, seasoned pros. As a kid I started with private lessons and later attended the Peabody Institute in Baltimore and Berklee College of Music in Boston. Where ever you are in your musical walk - I've been there and I can help you.

    My Teaching Philosophy
I can't stress this enough - I do not offer McLessons. If you're a beginner, I'll ask some questions which will help me get to know you so that I can assess which learning path will suit you best. If you're an intermediate or advanced player, you can tell me what you feel your obstacles are and then I'll perform a more in-depth assessment of your strengths in order to create a lesson plan which addresses your needs.

The only things I ask of my students are to be open-minded and willing to do some work at home. It will be beneficial to you if we set some realistic milestones to aim for so that you can measure your progress and see how all the pieces fit together to form the larger picture.
