    Introduction
    In a nut shell
I began playing the violin at age eight. Since that time, I have performed all over the United States and Canada (Las Vegas was the best!) for well-reknowned guests such as the Pope, John Paul II, the original Ronald McDonald, Dan Quayle, CEOs of various companies throughout the Midwest and many, many more. After receiving a full regents scholarship, I completed my bachelor degree in Music Performance at Arizona State University. I then went on to become a member of the Chicago Civic Orchestra, performing with (and for) great musicians, such as: Pierre Boulez, Sir George Solti, Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, Reuben Gonzalez, Albert Ignolikov and Rachel Barton. I have been concertmaster for various ensembles and am well versed in leading groups. I also performed in various capacities (solo section, section performer, concertmaster) for many ballet, musical theaters and other ensembles in Arizona, Illinois and Wisconsin. I developed a love for strolling while in the Tremper Golden Strings, which lead me to create a strolling environment for me in my string quintet, the Black Tie Affair String Ensemble in 1995. I also perform with a variety of rock, jazz, celtic and country bands (gotta play my banjo sometime!). I began teaching private violin lessons in 1991. I have also clinicianed and judged various events, and developed and directed the Jack Benny Signature Strings for two years.

"I teach because I can and because I want everyone to enjoy music as much as I do."
