I am a European musician living in N. America now for 25 years.
Having performed and taught flute professionally on two continents I bring several different perspectives of music to my students.
Music to me is not just an art or a profession but a life style and philosophy, which is applicable to other areas of life as well

    My Teaching Philosophy
Every personality is different, therefore every students not only is different but has individually different goals. This may range from wanting to learn an instrument just for their own fun, or maybe wanting to also play in a group or ensemble, maybe the student is part of a school wind ensemble and needs help with the instrument. Others may want help to be able to pass a music school entrance audition. As you can see there is no one-size-fits-all teaching strategy.
This means that the instructor has to be able to percieve who the student is as a personality, needs to ask the student what their goals are and then develop a "pathway" of learning for this specific individual that is as efficient as can be and offers the student a real gateway to trheir potential.
