    My Teaching Background

I provide rental percussion and can help you get a great sound for your next recording. (visit to see some of my snares and percussion.)

"There is nothing better than music as a means for the upliftment of the soul" -Inayat Khan

    My Teaching Philosophy
I am there to open up the student to the possiblilities inherent in their own musical personality. To explain and illustrate fundamentals...rudiments, posture, breathing, technique, reading, styles, soloing etc. and to help the student reach his or her goals. I use various media (method books, magazine articles, mp3's, cd's, dvd's etc.) to help re-inforce concepts along with a fully equipped acoustic drums set , mic'd up and mixed. You can bring your IPod and play along with the sound of professionally mic'd drums through headphones Often I will record a students lesson (digital audio/video) to help illuminate specific areas and give them a reference point for growth. I only request that the students are serious about investing in themselves and able to practice a minimum of a half hour a day.
