  • How do I renew my subscription to The Learning Musician?

    To renew your subscription, log into the website with your username and password, and click on My Profile. Then, click on Extend My Subscription on the left side of the page.

    The system will prompt you for your full name, billing address, and credit card information, as well as the length of subscription you are renewing for.

    Be sure to use the billing address associated with the card you're using! That's the most common source of declined transactions.

    It's important to point out that all subscriptions are prepaid - we never automatically bill your card; instead, you choose whether you would like to extend your membership by 1,3, 6 or 12 months at a time. We offer steep discounts for longer memberships, so compare the rates and decide which is right for you!

  • Do you keep my credit card information? Will I be charged unexpectedly?

    No. Since teachers prepay for their subscriptions, LearningMusician.com doesn’t keep your credit card information on file, and you will never receive unexpected charges.

  • What happens when my subscription (or free trial) runs out?

    As your expiration date approaches, we'll notify you by email, and you will have the option to renew your membership.

    Once your subscription expires, your profile will still appear on the site and be shown to potential students. If you receive an inquiry during this period, you will be notified via email, but you will need to renew your membership to read the inquiry.

  • How much does LearningMusician.com cost?

    For students and other "non-teacher" members of the site, The Learning Musician is 100% free.

    For teachers, we offer a two-month free trial to help you get acquainted with our services. After your trial expires, you can, at your discretion, renew your site membership for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time. We offer a substantial discount when you prepay for a longer renewal term.

    Our rates, which have never increased since the site's inception, are as follows:

    • One month: $9.95
    • Three Months: $24.95 ($8.32 / month)
    • Six Months: $44.95 ($7.49 / month)
    • Twelve Months: $84.95 ($7.08 / month)

  • I no longer want to be a member of this site. How do I remove my account?

    To have your account removed from LearningMusician.com, send email to staff@learningmusician.com and simply state that you'd like us to cancel your account. We need your feedback to make the site better! If you have suggestions or comments for how we could make the site better, please include them as well.
