Offering in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This post promotes both the $30 Pass for students to see 65+ concerts as well as the free ticket offer (see below). Read all to learn about both offers.

The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society is expanding its Education Program to reach teachers and students alike in offering great chamber music concerts and recitals at excellent rates. We value the efforts being made to train and encourage students and understand the challenges of keeping young musicians engaged and inspired.

To help make it possible for students to experience world-class musicians and ensembles in performance, we have created the PCMS Unlimited Student Pass, which allows any student under the age of 35 to attend as many of our 65+ concerts this year as they like for a one-time fee of just $30. Students can book tickets in advance or even just show their card at the door – it’s really that simple. The Student Pass can be purchased through our website – – or by calling our Box Office at 215-569-8080.

As tickets typically cost $10-23 per concert, the Unlimited Student Card is an exceptional value that allows students to attend more concerts than ever before. And to further make attendance possible, we would like to offer half-price tickets ($11.50) to parents/ guardians who wish to attend concerts with their student(s). Parents can call our box office to request this special offer.

This season, PCMS showcases an excellent line-up of world-class string quartets, woodwind and mixed ensembles, as well as piano, vocal, string and woodwind recitals, featuring world-class artists such as the Emerson and Tokyo Quartets, flutist Jeffrey Khaner, violinist Midori, cellist Colin Carr, pianists Mitsuko Uchida and Emanuel Ax, clarinetist Ricardo Morales, tenor Mathew Polenzani, guitarist John Williams and early-music ensemble Anonymous 4. For a full listing of concerts and artists, please visit

Teachers, we hope you find the PCMS’s season a great way to connect your students to the inspiration of artists from around the world. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the PCMS Education Program (which also includes master classes, pre-concert lectures and more) or our concerts. Furthermore, it would be our pleasure to welcome you as our guest to any concert you may wish to attend this season (pending availability). Please contact me directly, and I will have our box office staff set aside a pair of complimentary tickets for you.
