| | I'm preparing my Master's Degree Thesis and the title is "Coordination on the Drum-set / A manual for teachers". I'm trying to get teachers understand that sometimes a student can be talented but for some reason or reasons cannot develop adequately his or her coordination skills. Some factors are: Physical (Handicap, non functioning limbs), Mental ( Underdeveloped fine motor skills, unprepared when coordinating hands and feet, poor communication between brain and limbs, Emotional (Tension, anxiety, nervousness or mental block). Some teachers don't see beyond the traditional " play this, and if you can't go do something else" Let me know if you have any thoughts on this and if you you know of any literature available on this matter. Thank you
