About me
My name is Nick Dumas and I am a bluegrass fiddle, and mandolin teacher and am a very active performer in my family bluegrass band called The Three Generations. I have been playing music since the age of twelve and I love doing it. I have been playing the fiddle for about six years, mandolin for about four years, and the acoustic guitar for about two years. I have also picked up the banjo and the dobro just recently. I have lived in the Lynnwood area all of my life and enjoy living in the Northwest.
Lessons
If you are interested in taking fiddle, or mandolin lessons, I charge $25.00 an hour and I teach out of my home. I mainly play and teach the bluegrass style. I can teach beginning to advanced. If you are interested in taking lessons, please let me know!
(NOTE: I only teach by ear!)
Studio Work
I also have done recording studio work for numerous artists. If you are currently recording a project and need a fiddle, mandolin, or acoustic guitar, I would be happy to help you out.
The Band
Like I said up above, I play with a family bluegrass band called The Three Generations. We will play at almost any venue; festivals, private concerts, parties, etc...
