Introduction
Hi! , and thank you for visiting my page. I look forward to meeting with you and imparting that which I have learned during my various musical experiences. I am a celebrity vocal coach, specializing in technique and performance strategies for singers and recording artists. I am the wife of a wonderful husband and music minister and mother of two adorable small kids.
My Teaching Background
I am the owner and founder of American Singing Studio. We offer online and in- person voice lessons around the world! Our products include, our CD, Vocal QuicksStart Program, Master Voice Evaluations, American Singing Studio Complete Training Program, live online lessons, videos, and in- studio lessons.
My passion is teaching not only healthy vocal technique, but also style and musicality, for example, runs, trills, chest voice, belting, mixed voice, and how to phrase your singing so that you sound polished.
My Teaching Philosophy
I base my approach on the level and goals of the student. I teach the classical technique method, because of its many advantages to teaching and bringing out the best in the human voice. However, for professional R&B and Pop/ Theatre singers who are beginning their recording/ stage careers, I also take time out to teach proper belting technique to create that rich, mature sound they are striving for. I take the student beyond skillful singing to artistry and musicianship. I teach the student how to gauge their own instrument and define their own 'sound'.

Young Artists Performing Arts Camp
June 14-25, 2010
9am- 2pm M-F
Cost:$300
This is a two- week performing arts camp with an emphasis on vocal performance and musical theater for ages 6-14. Classes will be broken up into age groups to better suit learning capacities. Children will have daily fun with introduction to music theory, sightsinging, acting, performance techniques, stage techniques, along with group and private singing lessons. Children will also participate in a musical theater project to be debuted at the end of the camp! This camp will be fun, energetic and so rewarding for your jr. performer!
Camp will be taught by international master vocal coach Dileesa Hunter and opera singer Ms.Ebony Collier who have a combined 20 years experience in theater and the performing arts.
