    About MeContact Me
While growing up in California, my love for music and especially for the keyboard was inspired by studies with Kathleen Marie Buswell, who had been a student of the great Russian pianist, Josef Lehvinn. I also had the privilege of studying piano with renowned piano teachers, such as John Perry, Antoinette Perry, and Lucy DeSa and organ with Patricia Lamb. I attended Univ. of Calif., Irvine, where she studied piano performance with Nina Scolnik. While at UCI, I studied Taubman Technique with my teacher, who served as faculty member at Taubman Institute and Golandsky Institute. It changed my piano playing entirely and started the life long journey of developing and teaching technique that will produce great tone and prevent the injuries related to playing piano.

After teaching traditional method for 15 years, in 2003 in search of a method for pre-reading students, I came to know Suzuki method and fell in love with the philosophy and nurturing environment for learning and teaching. My Suzuki trainers include Dr. Doris Harrel, Rita Houck, Sue Vasquez, Dr. Ray Landers, and Sue Kwak.

    My Teaching Background
I've been teaching for over 20 years now and loving every moment of it. I have maintained active private piano studio in Irvine, California, The Woodlands, Texas, and now in Camas, Washington. Along with maintaining private studio, I have played piano and organ for many churches.

    My Teaching Philosophy
I enjoy a life of devotion to teaching the piano, especially to young pupils, fostering in them a love for music, and a strong sense of the discipline of learning.
