Hi! My name is Crystal Huskey! I am a teacher in the Snellville area, and would love to invite you to experience the joy of learning to play the piano! I have been playing piano for over twenty years, and have been teaching for seven. Learning to play an instrument is, as cliche as it sounds, the most rewarding gift you can ever give yourself or your child. Nothing inspires a person's soul like music.
If you choose to take lessons with me, I will teach you not only how to read notes and play written music, but also guide you in writing your own music, teach the theory of music, and show you how to play by chords.
I grew up in Europe, which is where I took the vast majority of my piano lessons as a child. As a teen, I played in a worship band at church as I continued my lessons. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion with a minor in Piano Performance. Although I have been classically trained, I have performed with jazz bands, worship bands, and many other ensembles. I am also a song writer. I love playing piano, and love to inspire others to learn this amazing instrument!
You are never too old to learn to play the piano. Some of my most enthusiastic students have been those that started in their fifties, simply because it is something they have always wanted to do!
Lessons are once a week for thirty minutes each lesson. Lessons are $80 per month, payable at the beginning of the month. Trial lessons are available at a reduced rate. I am currently available all weekdays. I can provide you with plenty of references if you would like.
I am available from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, and can teach a little later if neccessary. I do not currently teach on Saturdays. Also, lessons are currently held in my home, which is located very close to the Centerville Walmart off of Hwy 124. |
