    About MeContact MeBlog
Born 1977 in Surrey, England, Chris is an experienced guitarist who specializes in a number of styles.
Although initially inspired by players such as Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chris soon developed an interest in classical guitar after seeing footage of the late Andres Segovia.

He developed his passion for the classical instrument whilst maintaining his interest in the electric guitar and Jazz/Fusion players such as Al Di Meola, Frank Gambale and Allan Holdsworth were added to his list of influences, alongside more traditional Jazz guitarists such as Joe Pass and Wes Montgomery.

Chris has studied classical guitar at the Spanish Guitar Center, London, where his teacher was Lawrence Tendler. He has also studied privately with Paul Gregory and at Kingston University with Grahame Klippel. He holds a degree in Music Performance and Composition.

-Chris teaches a mind/body/spirit approach to learning the guitar and tries to find and work with the pupil's strongest area of interest, while opening the door to other styles and techniques.

-He has been a music instructor since 2000 and taught many styles of guitar in British schools for five years prior to moving to the US in 2005. Since then, Chirs has been active as a private music instructor to all ages and abilities.

-Chris currently teaches at his private studio in St. Paul and at Music Connection in Forest Lake.
