A Brief History-
I've been playing SINCE 1989 , toured with a production company, had countless lessons with good and bad instructors, played with local rock bands,arranged the music for Shakespeare "as you like it" in college and trained in classical guitar and piano in New York until my professor suggested I make the move to California.
In California, I studied songwriting and percussion at Calvary Chapel School of Worship as well as blues guitar at Saddleback. I am currently studying progressive rock, jazz, and old world music.
Family band -
In my hometown of Rochester NY, the whole family gets together on Sunday to cook, eat and play some kind of instrument as we improvise songs . It has allowed me to spent alot of time teaching music to my brothers, nephews, neices, and my father, plus writing songs 'on the fly' so we could all jam regardless of age or experience. I would highly recommend taking group lessons if it's possible.
I love to teach all ages and I have a few more lesson slots open for those who want to take advantage of the opportunity.
