My name is Capt. David K. Keyser located in Panama City, Florida. I’m a music instructor for Awesome Music. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 10:00 Am. - 7:00 PM. And Saturday from 10:00 Am - 6:00 PM.
I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Music Theory from Alabama State in 1986. In October 2006 I obtained a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Music Education from Belford University, Ca on-line education and am currently working on my Doctorates on-line education from Boston. I teach the following instruments and more at all levels:Piano, Violin, Fiddle, Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Dulcimer ( Mountain & Hammered), Cello, Viola, Lap & Peddle Steel Guitar, banjo, Mandolin, Ukulele and Voice. Other instruments may be considered for teaching.
We at Awesome Music offer Piano/Keyboard, Percussion, Woodwind and Brass lessons as well. If your in our area or looking to move to the area, or just visiting we welcome you to come in and visit us.
I’ve been playing string instruments sense I was 8 years old, 1966. I started teaching in 1986 just prior to graduation and have been doing in home private lessons till 2003 when I started teaching full time at Awesome Music and on-line.
My teaching methods very: I may use some already proven and trusted publications like Alfred s, Mel Bay, Essential Elements, Suzuki or others. I may use my own written lessons plans some published and some computer generated by myself where you can down load a Free player/viewer for studies and play along instructions; exp: Pizzicato, Power Tab, Finale, Tab1edit, Guitar Pro, Alfred's Music Theory CD/DVD online student instruction or Adobe PDF files. I believe with the internet your learning is not limited you can even do lesson reviews with me online FREE and LIVE,VIA your password which I give you! All my lessons are interactive and fun. Why do I use the internet so much? How did you find me? That's right if your a student of mine all lesson materials are FREE, no extra cost. Lesson Rates: (Private Lessons, One on One) $20.00 Per ½ hour.
$35.00 per 50 min, sessions. These rates apply to buying 4 lessons at a time ( Package Value).
Pay per Lesson: $25.00 for 30 min. and $45.00 for 50 minutes.
Group lessons are negotiable rates depending on the amount of students, time length and time of day taught.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM. - 7:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Sunday's may be scheduled for lessons upon request rates negotiable.
After hours lessons can be obtained if needed, some exclusions apply and may incur added expenses.
