    Introduction
I have over 25 years of experience as professional guitarist, performing live and as a session musician in recording studios from Miami to Los Angeles, Denver and Seattle. I also have experience as a producer, arranger and recording engineer. From 1992 thru 2009 I toured the world as the guitarist and musical director for Tom Jones.

    My Teaching Background
I was raised by two musicians who taught at home - my mother taught piano and my father double bass (he also directed junior high school bands).

While completing my Bachelors of Music degree in Studio Music and Jazz at the University of Miami, I began teaching non-performance major guitar students at the University, while also teaching privately and at local music stores. After relocating to Los Angeles, I taught for a year at California State University in Northridge (Music Theory Classes and Jazz Guitar Lessons). After I became busy as touring musician, I taught only sporadically, but since relocating to Seattle in 2012 I've begun accepting a few dedicated students who want to increase the depth and breadth of their musical skills.

    My Teaching Philosophy
I encourage students to look at their instrument in new ways......INCOMPLETE
