I have been playing bluegrass banjo for over 25 years,and teaching private lessons for most of that time as well. I have played in several different bands and now play as a duet with my husband. I work full time as an interpreter for the deaf with the Hillsborough County school system. Randy and I belong to several Florida bluegrass associations, and host the beginner jam for CFBA. I teach one night a week out of our home in Wesley Chapel Florida. Lessons are $20 a half hour, and
an hour lesson is $35.00 if paid monthly,and scheduled every other week. Unless the student wishes for more time. We have jam parties so that the students can work on playing in a group situation. We also attend the local bluegrass events and invite all students to participate with us as well as encourage them to support bluegrass music. We perform locally,and in our spare time we enjoy playing golf and riding our horses. The banjo is a happy instrument you can't help but smile while playing one. :) Musically Yours Lori |
