Amateur musician -- guitar, keyboard, and now "suddenly" a first few notes on the trumpet, a somewhat impulsive eBay purchase. Played trombone in high school, so the fundamentals of getting noise out of a brass instrument were already known to me.
Both my kids played instruments in school -- my daughter played trombone (all the way through college) and my son played saxophone until he discovered guitars and girls.
Amateur oil painter. Day job: legal editor for a publishing company.
