Introduction
I have been married 26 years, we have an 18 year old daughter and 3 dogs. I own and run a cleaning business and I teach piano lessons. Piano and music is my passion and hopefully I will be able to close my cleaning business and teach piano full time.
My Teaching Background
I have been playing the piano for over 30 years. I was privately taught. I have been teaching piano lessons for about 10 years. I was a church pianist for several years playing for church services and accompanying vocalists and myself.
My Teaching Philosophy
I do my best to work with each student at their individual pace while encouraging them to progress. I do not believe that lessons should be stressful or intimidating to the student and do my best to keep things "light". I put a lot of emphasis on music theory so the student understands how music works and be able to create on their own.
Rates And Availability
I teach in my home. Lessons are 30 minutes at $15 a lesson. I prefer the lessons be paid for each month, in advance, at the first lesson of the month, but I will accept payment at each lesson, if necessary.
