Up next: I will be playing the role of Kate Mullins in Titanic a the 5th Avenue Theater, April 13th-15th commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the sinking of Titanic.
Jenny recently recorded the original cast album of A Christmas Story (which she performed at the 5th Avenue Theater this past December) with Sony Records, available soon!
Jenny is an experienced performer and teacher and holds a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance from Pacific Lutheran University (2004). She is a seasoned performer in areas including Opera, Musical Theater, Jazz and Contemporary. As a vocalist Jenny has performed in over 40 full staged productions in Opera and Musical Theater playing leading and supporting roles with such companies as Tacoma Opera, Bellevue Opera, 5th Avenue Theater, Civic Light Opera, Northwest Savoyards, Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Tacoma Musical Playhouse and Harlequin Productions among others. She is a regular guest soloist for concert events at the 5th Avenue Theater. She also is a soloist for events such as weddings, funerals and various parties and social events. Jenny is trained classically as a coloratura soprano as well as having a very strong voice for Musical Theater, Jazz or Pop.
As a pianist Jenny has been playing for 20 years and is a regular at weddings, funerals,parties and other events. She is a seasoned accompanist with very strong sight-reading skills. Jenny has been trained classically but also has played back up for bands, worship teams and solo singers as well as being a regular accompanist for herself at events that ask for voice and piano.
Jenny has also musically directed for two children's theaters /conservatories in the Puget Sound area as well as an instructor for Musical Theater workshops and vocal master classes through various theaters / conservatories and churches.
Currently, students range in age from 4-66 (but willing to expand on that!). Lead singers in bands, musical theater emphasis, classical emphasis, singer/songwriter, beginner, intermediate and advanced.
As a voice teacher Jenny has had students receive superior ratings in Solo and Ensemble contests sending them on to the state level.
