    Introduction
Hello, my name is Frank. I have been playing piano for 12 years now and have been teaching for 3.

    My Teaching Background
I had taken piano lessons for 1 year from a private teacher, and 3 years in the high school level. I was in the Norwin High School Marching Band for 3 years and as a senior, I was a student tutor. After I graduated, I taught a few people how to play. They said that my lessons were fun and they learned a lot, and told me I should put an ad in the newspaper. I have taken a few education courses in college, and integrated what I have learned into my lesson plans. I have the security clearances (PA Act 14-151) required to work in a public school district, and will be more than happy to show you at your request.

    My Teaching Philosophy
When I teach, I try to make the lessons fun and interesting, but challenging. That way the students learn more, and have an easier time practicing on their own. If you don't like a subject in school, you don't want to do the homework. So if I can get the students interested in what they are learning then I have a better chance of them practicing on their own, without becoming distracted easily.

    Rates And Availability
I like to teach in your home, at the instrument you will be practicing on. It makes it easier on you. I am available any day and time of the week, with the exception of Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The lessons are usually 1 hour long. I have no problem working around your schedules. I charge $10* a lesson, with the first lesson free. Textbooks are ordered the first lesson and cost $7-$15 per book.

*Rates of lessons can be changed in order to accommodate a limited budget
