Introduction
Rock guitar is my specialty. However, I enjoy teaching all modern styles of guitar music.
My Teaching Background
I've taught rock and modern guitar on the Eastside since 1990. I'm proud of the praise and reputation that I've earned as a patient and qualified instructor. In fact I often carry a waiting list for new students as I am often booked to capacity. Being a performing songwriter with local success and radio airplay has helped me to help students of all ages achieve various levels of success in their musical endeavors.
My Teaching Philosophy
I do my best to help students in accomplishing their individual musical goals. Students should expect to attend lessons regularly in order to make adequate progress and should understand the importance of quality practice. Playing music should be fun. For that reason I'm not one of the teachers that is short, rude, or mean. I aim to make you a better player but it's really up to you and your willingness to practice.
Rates And Availability
My teaching studio at Spotlight Studios, is in downtown Woodinville. I teach there 6 days a week Mon-Sat. Lessons are $30/ea, 1/2 hr once a week paid monthly. I have room to accept 2 to 3 students at this time.
Band rehearsals, classes, and other instruments are all featured at the studio as well.
