    About MeContact Me
I have been playing piano since the age of 3. Classically trained for over a decade, and performing and composing most of my life.

I have been teaching for 12 years, in a verity of stiles and instruments, my strongest instrument is classical Piano. It has been the joy of my life performing and teaching this instrument, although classically trained in many other strings, by far piano has been my 'go to' instrument. I have taught ages 3 to 58, for single piece performances, retouch of old skills, accompaniment, conquering new challenges and technique and beginner learning to pass on the passion that stated my carrier as a musician. I pride myself on being the teacher that consistently hears "OH! That makes sense now." everyone learns so differently, even as technical as 'classical' piano is, there are many stiles to describe/teach for every type of student.

Using a college degree in child psyc/ early learning, helps fill out the corners in the learning triangle. If there is a passion for music, I can teach the technique, in a fun environment which grows a lifelong passion for music and performing.

Teaching music is only one facet of my love for learning. I have been teaching for over 10 years outside of music. I have coached Color guard (like cheer leading with flags) kindergarten, and early childhood learning. Camp councilor (summer camp) and swim lessons/lifeguard. I have seen all types of students. All are welcome. I teach out of my home, but can travel to yours on a case by case. I prefer weekly lessons, and prices and packages are listed below. If you have any questions about me, my lessons/ technique, my background history or simply want to get in touch, please email me and I will get back to you promptly.

    Pricing: 60 per lesson
Each lesson is 60 min. first 15 perform for teacher last week’s work, discussion and constructive criticism. 30 min practice with teacher new techniques, refining old skills and next week’s expectations/work. Last 15 is music theory. To know where one is going, we must reflect where we came from. This includes, but isn't limited to: sight reading, music 'grammar' and history. Books are purchased at cost through me ((I charge nothing extra, packages include freebies)) and will be provided at first lesson, to be practiced throughout the week. Dependent on musical growth of each student, books are purchased on as needed basis and will be discussed in advanced as each students musicianship develops. I believe that as we grow our tastes change with us, so the direction of each student is not only based on incremental steps in technique but development of skills but what music they are drawn to as well.

Monthly Package: 260 ** Includes first free lesson
Two month package: 460 ** Includes free lesson and first music book
